Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Co-Facilitator for a full-time position to work on men's violence intervention. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth comprehension of male violence against women, including a keen understanding of power dynamics. They must possess a non-judgmental attitude, excel in active listening, and demonstrate empathy towards clients, staff, and stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Co-Facilitator for a full-time position to work on men's violence intervention. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth comprehension of male violence against women, including a keen understanding of power dynamics. They must possess a non-judgmental attitude, excel in active listening, and demonstrate empathy towards clients, staff, and stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Co-facilitate weekly group sessions, challenging abusive behavior and addressing social structures that support it.
- Effectively handle caseloads, providing comprehensive support to clients.
- Complete professional reports on clients for referring agencies, lawyers, and other pertinent entities.
- Engage with community, government entities, and external stakeholders.
- Represent our organization's values and build positive relationships with community leaders, government officials, and other nonprofits.
- Work in an office setting, schedule appointments, conduct intake interviews, and maintain client files and records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in group counseling or related field.
- Non-violent crisis intervention, suicide intervention, and standard first aid certification.
- Salary: $63,769 annually.
