Grab your aprons!   New Leaf Cooks- a cookbook from men-for men go on sale Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Holiday Inn Express’s Annual Fall into Christmas Shopping Party – Lawrence Boulevard, Stellarton.  Our books will be sold from 9am -4pm.

Chef Gilles Godin will be offering samples from two recipes featured in our book starting at
11am while the food supplies last!
 
Stay and browse through crafts, baby wear, skin care products, art work and more from your local favorite Home Base Businesses and local small businesses . 
 
Highland Square Mall is also where you can find our Cookbook  only from noon to 4:00 pm on November 18.  Makes a great gift just in time for the holidays.  Limited Quantities available so get it while you can!  

New Leaf is a program designed for men working towards positive change. 

As a group facilitator you will work ten hours a week with two evening group sessions a week.

The ideal candidate will have either a Sociology or Psychology background, and have a firmunderstanding and belief of our philosophy.
Philosophy:

• We believe that women have the right to determine their own lives and to live in abuse free relationships.
• We believe that violence against women in intimate relationships arises from a systemic imbalance in power and control.  
• We believe that men should be supported in their effort to recognize and take responsibility for their abusive behaviour and in their effort to make real and long lasting changes in their perception of women and of themselves.
